Lone Star is our home away from home. They are a fantastic venue with an amazing staff. They are accommodating for many types of visitors with large open spaces and an inviting atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place for a special event, milestone, or looking to host a party, a wedding, or honestly any kind of event check out Lone Star Indoor Sports and Events Center. They’ve accommodated anime conventions, weddings, school / community events, as well as countless celebrations.

INTERESTED IN AN ADULT LEAGUE?

For our guests over the age of 18, North Texas Roller Derby (NTRD) is an adult, female league located in Denton, TX.

Whether you’re already an accomplished skater or have never been on skates before, the fantastic skaters of North Texas Roller Derby will help you achieve your derby dreams. The Rising Phoenixes training program is designed to accommodate everyone so they may progress at their own pace. Their dedicated trainers will teach the fundamentals of skating and how to play the game. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome regardless of shape, size, or ability. All members of the league are considered a valuable part of the NTRD family.

North Texas Roller Derby was founded in 2011 and made a full member league by the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in 2013. The Fighting Unicorns are North Texas Roller Derby’s internationally ranked travel team.
